Silverlake Church is gathering with artists in the community to create space at our church for local artists to “show their wares”. Our inaugural gathering was on Thursday, May 28 2009 and it exceeded our expectations! Three bands, Sorry, Nelson, Jason Diaz, and all of us/none of us, were outstanding. Our four visual artists displayed serious paintings and sculptures. Over 80 people joined us. We have since had several other gatherings and are presently preparing for events in 2011.
