Katie Kuehn leads our Youth Ministry and is our Sunday School Teacher, Artist, Room Designer, Volunteer Recruiter amongst other things. The Youth Ministry continues to use the Live Big/One Big Room series, which includes a story, monthly Bible verse, games, crafts, skits, songs, and a DVD segment for each class and is designed to engage all age groups. Our gathering room is bright and welcoming  and we recently received new Bibles, which have been a wonderful addition to the ministry. We have also been blessed with many new volunteers who give of their time as teachers.

We have become more involved with the congregation and have put on sketches and readings in many Sunday morning services and hope to do more of this as we develop this ministry. Our youth group is an important part of the congregation and to have the children understand that they are vital to the life of the church. We are also working to generate interest in implementing a junior high class. We are also working toward community involvement in the coming year, with a youth group taking on a volunteer project in the neighborhood.
