Kyle Joacim’s father and grandfather were both Presbyterian pastors in Ohio and Pennsylvania, where he earned a BFA in Acting and a BA in German from Miami University of Ohio. Kyle continued first by serving the PCUSA overseas in Germany. His experiences and service with Kurdish refugees and inner-city youth led him to attend Fuller Seminary, where he graduated in 2011 with his MDiv. While at Fuller, Kyle served as the Youth Leader at Eccelsia Hollywood, and after graduation he took his first “call” at First Presbyterian Church of Granada Hills as the Associate Pastor of College and Creative Arts Ministries. Then he quit and took a break from being a pastor for a year and a half and worked a part time construction job…feel free to ask him about it.
