Food Pantry

Join us every Wednesday from 5:00pm-6:30pm for our Food Pantry.

For over many years, SLCC has provided a Wednesday night food pantry.  All food-insecure persons, are invited to come and receive food donated by the LA Food Bank and other local sources.  Clothing is also available.  Serving Wednesdays, 5:00pm-6:30pm at the Fellowship Hall; guests are asked to line up outside the door and also a drive through service is available.

A new program benefiting the unhoused has begun. Unhoused friends are invited to participate in an extended services program called Wednesday Drop In (WDI) from 2-4:30pm. A small meal is provided along with access to clean clothing and hygiene accessories.

If you want to get involved by volunteering or donating, or have questions, please contact us for needed items/services.

WDI

Did you know that every Wednesday we host a drop in service from 2-4:30pm for our unhoused neighbors. WDI (Wednesday Drop In) connects them with much needed services such as clothing, medical, dental, tax preparation, birth certificate retrieval, identification etc. and gives them a meal?

Did you know that there were nearly 50,000 unhoused people in Los Angeles in 2019?

At SLCC we use our ministry to work locally and support our neighbors that are experiencing food and or housing insecurities.

Every Wednesday from 5:00pm-6:30pm we open our Food Pantry doors to local residents and offer a variety of dried goods and fresh vegetables.
